A short but cleverly entwined read of two tales centuries apart. Different enough to avoid the typical cliché this type of fiction often falls into. I loved the subtle links between chapters and centuries, based more on time and sense than on the words themselves. With the Caravaggio, an aged Baroque legend itself at the centre of the story, the author somehow managed to still keep things edgy and modern and wonderfully unpredictable.
